Anyway, dapat good news dari Shah sebentar tadi bahawa anak dia dah dapat approval dari Ministry of Education Arab Saudi. Sesape yang tak tahu, muslim kids must get an approval from MOE for admission to international schools. Previously, there was no problem in geting the approval tapi recently there was kind of new regulation prohibiting muslim kids from enrolling into american or british international schools. I have decided to send my 4 schooling kids to YIS, even though I have to top up about SR4000 a month becoz company tak fully cover the cost. For info, school fees kat YIS ni range from SR43k to SR48k per year depending on which grade. Other international schools average fees are around SR9k to SR14k a year. Of course, there are big differences in term of infrastructure, environment, teachers etc. Need to check out yourself and compare, then decide.

School Enrolment Requirements for YIS:

A) Submission for MOE Approval

1) Letter from company confirming father's position.

2) TWO copies of a certified last school report.

3) TWO copies of student's passport inclusive the visa page.

4) TWO copies of full father's residence permit (Iqama)

B) For YIS

1) One copy of child's passport including visa page.

2) ONE copy of father's iqama with family page.

3) Child's immunization card

4) ONE copy of recent physical examination by medical doctor.

5) Previous school records that include report card from last school attended.
