Malam tadi sempat lagi panggil kawan-kawan kat RC untuk majlis tahlil ringkas, doa selamat masuk rumah dan sikit makan-makan. InsyaAllah, next time panggil kawan-kawan kat balad pulak. Alhamdullillah, ramai gak yang dah dapat rumah. Bile bercerita pasal rumah ni, memang pening sikit pasal pilihan dan budget yang terhad. Di dalam posting yang terdahulu, aku ada bercerita pasal rumah ni.
Anyway, some guidelines with regard to accommodation here in Yanbu. Basically, there are 2 places where Malaysians reside, namely Yanbu downtown or better known as balad here and Royal Commission or RC. The distance between these two places is about 20km. Our workplace is near RC, which is about 10km. RC is between the downtown and the company.In general, rental cost in RC is higher than in the downtown. For example, 2 bedroom apt (not furnished) in RC ranges from 22k to 25k but in downtown it may cost about 15K.
As for my house ni, it consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 family hall, 1 kitchen, 1 dining hall and 1 guest hall. It is a link house. No furniture except the kitchen cabinet, aircond and wardrobe in every room. It cost me SR30k a year and I need to pay in advance for 6 months rent. Some owner may ask for a lump sum of one year rent.Kat RC ni, the place is like living in suburban area like Subang Jaya or Seri Alam gitu. You may get an apartment or link house or a villa (sharing basis). Of course there are less shops in RC, unlike in downtown where you can find just find anything within a walking distance.
