It has been almost a year Yanbu has seen sudden increase of Malaysian presence. The majority of them have been employed by Yansab. Todate, there are a total of 89 Malaysians minus 5 who had gone back to Malaysia for good. One was requested to leave on medical ground, one has recently resigned and 3 have 'cabut' just like that. Just hope that there will be no more cabut case in the future. There are already 29 families out of 89 Malaysians in Yansab. More families are coming within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, I haven't got the chance to meet all the families yet. InsyaAllah .... we will plan something to bring together all Malaysians again in the future. Any proposal is very much welcome...
Next week, there will be another few Malaysians to join Yansab and of course there are still resume and CVs keep coming in. Majority of Malaysian in Yansab are in Operation Department attached to various plants like Olefin, BBTX, EG, UO, LLDPE, HDPE and PP. The rest are in Technical, Maintenance, Laboratory, Logistic, CSU, Finance and Planning.
